Liu Ji is the Director of the Patent Litigation Department at CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, specializing in patent infringement lawsuits, trade secret disputes, patent invalidation, and related consultancy services. With over two decades of experience since joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Liu has represented numerous patent applications and successfully handled close to a hundred patent invalidation and litigation cases, including a case recognized as a Top Ten IP Case by the Tianjin High Court in 2018.

Mr. Liu has studied European and US patent laws and practices at law firms in Germany and the United States, and further pursued courses on IP laws and treaties at the Cardozo School of Law in the United States. In 2013, as a representative of the All-China Patent Attorneys Association, he accompanied Commissioner Mr. Tian Lipu to a liaison meeting with the American Bar Association and delivered a panel speech. Liu Ji has also given keynote speeches at international conferences held in Munich and London. He has also published articles in professional publications such as MIP, Asia IP and IAM.
