Dr Eugene Ho is currently the Research and IP Director for one of the World’s leading Dairy companies, Mengniu Dairy. At the Chinese dairy conglomerate, Dr Eugene Ho contributes his IP, patents and venture capital expertise to enable the Dairy giant to expand its innovation and business beyond dairy into nutrition, biotechnology and Life Sciences. Dr Ho manages the dairy conglomerate’s entire patent portfolio of about 300 patent applications yearly, over 500 granted inventions patents, 650 utility patents and 1700 registered design patents.

Dr Eugene Ho is currently listed as one of the World’s leading IP strategists in the IAM Strategy 300 listing 2023 – 2024 and also leads Asia Pacific IP Team of 2023 from the World Trademark Review (WTR). Prior to Mengniu Dairy, Dr Eugene Ho pursued a career in patents and intellectual property (IP) as a patent examiner at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). In his spare time, Dr Eugene Ho is also an adjunct lecturer at the National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine where he teaches industry-relevant IP topics relating to Life Sciences inventions, drug patents and venture capital.
