Dr. Achim Krebs is a partner at HGF and the founder of its The Hague office. With a doctorate and diploma in chemistry from the University of Heidelberg and a degree in patent litigation from the University of Strasbourg, he brings deep scientific and legal expertise to his practice. Dr. Krebs advises a broad range of clients, from start-ups to multinationals, on chemical and pharmaceutical inventions and represents them in opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO.

As a Dutch, Belgian, and European patent attorney, as well as a registered European trademark and design attorney and UPC representative, he provides strategic counsel on patent litigation, IP strategy, and the role of intellectual property in high-value M&A transactions. Recognized in the IAM 1000 and IAM Strategy 300 for several years, Dr. Krebs is a distinguished pan-European practitioner known for his precision in navigating complex IP landscapes.
