David Wang is the director of the Asia Pacific Intellectual Property Dept of Huawei. He is responsible for the Asia Pacific IPR business planning, as well as IPR application, management, licensing, litigation, cooperation, and operation. Before taking charge of Asia Pacific IPR affairs, David Wang handled major patent disputes and anti-monopoly matters, and represented Huawei in discussions on IPR legislation and policies at home and abroad.
David Wang joined Huawei in 2008 and graduated from Peking University with a JM degree. After joining Huawei, he has worked as patent engineer, senior IP lawyer, and director, and has a deep understanding of all aspects of IPR business.
