George Hwang is a lawyer whose practice focuses on the intersection of intellectual property, technology and media law. With more than 20 years of experience, George has successfully navigated high-profile and landmark litigation cases, high-stakes cross-border transactions, and complex regulatory frameworks.

A prolific speaker and author, George has presented to global audiences, including a report on Asian online music at World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He has published articles in international law journals and contributed to books. Additionally, he serves as the Content Partner for Lexis Practical Guidance on IP/IT: Corporate (M&A) and Financing.

George has also participated in training initiatives such as WIPO’s capacity-building programs across ASEAN and is recognised as a thought leader in AI. He is the current chair of LESI Copyright Committee. George speaks English, Mandarin and French.
