Graham is Managing Director of Cubicibuc Limited, a UK-based independent technical consulting firm specializing in matters relating to IP. Graham is a technologist with more than 20 years’ experience in IP advisory and 28 years’ extensive experience advising clients in the development and exploitation of technology. With a background in telecoms product development, Graham has developed products in cellular and wireless systems; location-based systems including GNSS; and proprietary systems for automotive, security and FMCG. Graham acts as a technical expert in these fields and has published widely on SEPs and FRAND building a keen interest in standards based IPRs. Graham is also an Industrial Associate with the Institute for Manufacturing (IfM) at the University of Cambridge where he is involved with the development of IP Strategy tools and processes; with a particular focus on supporting SMEs, and non-patent-centric businesses. In 2021 he co-authored a report for the European Commission “Building stronger intellectual property strategy capabilities: Supporting SMEs to succeed with open innovation”. Graham is a co-editor of the forthcoming book “Business Secrets Management: Strategies to Protect, Extract, and Maximize Value”, scheduled for release in April 2025.
