Kun Quan’s accolades include Best Animation show at the 2009 Golden Bell awards as producer for the multi-platform sci-fi Animax project – LaMB. That led to collaborations in the realm of character crafting and visual storytelling with top global content creators like Disney in Shanghai; Donnie Yen, Ning Hao in Beijing; Stephen Chow in HK; Tippett studio in Berkeley; DNeg in London. He received producer accreditation at Cannes Film Festival Marche Du Film in 2023 and has been invited to speak in film industry events in Busan, Bucheon, Beijing, Singapore, and Taipei. From writing, directing, storyboarding, to story development, KQ has bilingual frontline creative know-how and market experience in both Mandarin and English. Recently KQ teamed up with showrunner Hank Tseng of Copycat Killer to invest in top notch projects by Thai, Indonesian and Vietnamese filmmakers. They announced a 50 million USD slate in Busan Film Festival 2024, with 5 million USD in it dedicated to Asian horror films.
